Pizza on the Move: DC Slices Hits the Streets Today

DC’s latest addition to the ever-expanding armada of roving food trucks hits the street today. DC Slices is billed as “a mobile pizza kitchen bringing great pizza to Washingtonians, tourists, and anyone that loves a fresh, hot slice.” Similar to other social media savvy food trucks, you can follow DC Slices on Twitter and Facebook to find updates on where they’ll be serving slices throughout the day. Individual slices are $4 and 17 inch pies are $20; cash only.

No word yet on the quality, but here’s to hoping that DC Slices is more in the style of 2 Amys, Red Rocks, or Pete’s, and less Jumbo Slice. If you get a chance to grab a slice, let me know about it in the comments.

  1. Had my first slice in Farragut park for lunch today. They make it on the truck, so it’s super hot and fresh. Not as big as a Jumbo Slice–but way, way better. Crust is awesome.
